Covenant Core

Covenant Core is a voluntary membership offering three Personal Responsibility Amount Yearly (PRAY) tiers and pay-as-you-go pricing with robust features. The Core level provides access to doctor office visits, urgent care, specialty care and hospital services through member-to-member sharing.

Covenant Crisis is a voluntary membership offering two Personal Responsibility Amount Yearly (PRAY) tiers and pay-as-you-go pricing for catastrophic services. The Crisis level provides access to ambulance, hospital, surgical and maternity services through member-to-member sharing.

The Covenant Daily level provides access to doctor office visits, urgent care, specialty care and services through member-to-member sharing.

Covenant Choice

At the Choice level, members are required to meet a Personal Responsibility Amount Yearly (PRAY) of $10,000. The Choice program brings the best aspects of a daily health plan and a catastrophic plan together into one program. While maintaining the affordability of a catastrophic program, members are provided sharing for both major medical incidents and routine daily needs.

Covenant HealthShare, Inc. (“Covenant”) is a non-profit health care sharing ministry (“HCSM”). As a HCSM, Covenant facilitates the sharing of medical expenses amongst its members, but Covenant is not an insurance company, and neither its guidelines nor program of operation is an insurance policy. Covenant members voluntarily share each other’s medical expenses in accordance with membership guidelines administered by Covenant and its affiliates. Sharing is available among members for all qualified medical expenses; however, Covenant does not guarantee or promise that your medical bills will be paid or assigned to other members for payment. Whether any other member chooses to contribute, in whole or in part, to the payment of your medical bills is completely voluntary on the part of that member. As such, membership in Covenant should never be considered as a substitute for an insurance policy. Whether you or your provider(s) receive any payments for medical expenses, and whether or not Covenant continues to operate, you are always liable for any unpaid medical bills. This HCSM is not regulated by state departments of insurance. Select states explicitly exempt HCSMs that, among other requirements, post a state specific notice advising consumers in such state that a HCSM is not an insurance company, does not offer or provide insurance policies, and is not insurance. As a HCSM, Covenant’s operations are exempt from insurance regulations. Although Covenant does not rely on such explicit exemptions under state law in order to operate as a HCSM, Covenant has chosen to publish these state specific notices.
